The Z690 Extreme Glacial UltraBlock is far more than a heatsink with water channels. This product of a close collaboration with industry leader EK Water Blocks is a complete solution for custom-loop motherboard cooling, covering the CPU, VRMs, onboard M.2 slots, PCH, and even the integrated LAN. EK Active Contact Cooling can keep M.2 drives at optimal temperatures, while 57 microfins swiftly channel water over the central processor. The ROG Water-Cooling Zone offers a sensor array that continually monitors coolant flow, temperatures, and seal integrity, and the PCH cooling block features a fin stack to enhance heat dissipation. Meanwhile, the UltraBlock has an aesthetic to match its performance, thanks to the AniMe Matrix display and a 2-inch OLED LiveDash that can display live system stats. - Cooler by design
ROG Maximus Z690 Extreme Glacial features comprehensive cooling options that are configurable via Fan Xpert 4 or the UEFI BIOS. Each header can be set to monitor and react to three user-configurable thermal sensors for workload-based cooling, and all settings can be easily managed by Fan Xpert 4 or via the UEFI. - ROG water-cooling zone
Dual water-temperature headers and a flow-rate header feed information straight into the AI Suite utility, allowing you to track coolant temperatures and the flow rate of the entire loop. A dedicated header can supply over 3 amps to a high-performance PWM or DC water pumps. - ROG Fan Controller
